 \alpha  +  \beta  = 1 \div 4

 \alpha  \beta  =  - 1

then insert them in the formula ,

 {x }^{2}  -  ( \alpha  +  \beta )x +  \alpha  \beta

2. here ,

 \alpha  +  \beta  =  \sqrt{2}

 \alpha  \beta  = 1 \div 3
