2. Find the area of a semi-circle of diameter 14 cm.​

Area of a circle= π r²

Therefore,

Area of a semi circle=(π r²)/2 ____(i)

Given diameter=14cm

Therefore radius will be 14/2 = 7cm

Now putting the values in equation (i)

(22/7 x 7²)/2

= 77 cm² (ans)

Therefore the area of the semi-circle of dimeter 14 cm is 77cm²
