The radius of the circle is given to be 14 mm

We have to find the area of the circle

Area of circle = πr²

Putting the value of r = 14 and π = 22/7

                      = (22/7) × (14)²

                     = (22/7) × 196

                    = 22 × 28

                    = 616 mm²

Hence, the area of the circle will be 616 mm²

Given

  • 2. Find the area of the following circles, given that: (a) Radius = 14 mm (Take π = 22/7)

To Find

  • Area of Circle.

Solution

Area of Circle =rπ r^2

~Calculating Area :

  • ➢22/7×(14)^2

  • ➢22/7×14×14

  • ➢22×2×14

  • ➢44×14

  • ➢616

  • ➢=616mm^2

Hence,Required Area is 616mm^2.
