Area of the shaded region =

Area of rectangle - ( Area of circle + Area of square )

Area of rectangle = l × b

= 50 × 20 = 1000 cm square

Area of circle =

\pi {r}^{2}

= π × 7 × 7

= 22×7

= 154cm square

Area of square =

 {side}^{2}

=

 {(10)}^{2}

= 100 cm square

So, Area of shaded portion =

1000 - ( 154 + 100 )

1000 - 254

= 746 cm square Ans.

This is the correct answer...
