2) Find the area of trapezium whose parallel sides are 15 cm,, and 23 cm, whereas the non parallel sides are 10 cm
and 8 cm.​

Answer-

Explanation-

BC=AE=8cm(because it is parallelogram)

DE=DC-AB

DE=8cm

Area of isosceles triangle=1/2×base×height

Area=1/2×AD×AE

Area=1/2×10×8

Area=40cm²

Area of parallelogram ABCE=base×height

Area=15×8

Area =120cm²

Area of trapezium=Area of ADE+Area of parallelogram ABCE

Area of trapezium=40cm²+120²

Area=160cm²
