let breadth be x

Area of rectangle= L×B

90cm²= 15×x

90cm²=15x

 \frac{90}{15}  = x

x= 6 Cm

therefore breadth is 6

Now,

Perimeter=2×(l+b)

P= 2×(15+6)

P=2×21

P= 42cm

Given :

Area of the rectangle = 90sq.cm

Length of the rectangle = 15cm

To find :

We have to find the breadth and perimeter of the rectangle.

Solution :

Let the breadth of the rectangle be y.

==> Length × Breadth = Area of the rectangle

==> 15cm × y = 90sq.cm

==> y = 90/15

==> y = 6cm

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2 × (l + b)

==> 2 × (15cm + 6cm)

==> 2 × 21cm

==> 42cm

Therefore, the breadth and perimeter of the rectangle whose area is 90sq.cm and length is 15cm is 6cm and 42cm respectively.
