∴ by pythagoras theorem, we have 

side, AC = (82+62) = 10 cm

BY PYTHAGORAS THEOREM

AC = ROOT UNDER AB^2 + BC^2

AC= ROOT UNDER 6^2 + 8^2

AC= ROOT UNDER 36+64

AC = ROOT UNDER 100= 10 CM

HENCE ; AC = 10 CM
