We know that,

Mean = Sum of observations/Total no of observations

1)) First five prime numbers:-

The first five prime numbers are:- 2,3,5,7,11

Their sum = 2 + 3 + 5 + 7 + 11 = 28

Mean = Sum of observations/Total no of observations

= 28/5

= 5.6

Mean of first five prime numbers is 5.6.

The first ten whole numbers are:- 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10.

Their sum = 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 + 10 = 55

Mean = Sum of observations/Total no of observations

= 55/10

= 5.5

Mean of first ten whole numbers is 5.5.
