Answer :-

Given :-

  • Compound interest = Rs. 500
  • Amount = Rs. 700

To Find :-

  • Principal, P

Solution :-

We know that,

Amount = Principal + Interest

Here, we are given amount and compound interest. So, by simply substituting the value in formula, we can find principal.

→ 700 = P + 500

→ P = 700 - 500

→ P = 200

Principal = Rs. 200

Given : Interest is Rs.500 & Amount is Rs.700 .

Need To Find : The Principal.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⠀

❒ Let's consider the Principal be P .

\dag\:\:\it{ As,\:We\:know\:that\::}\\

\qquad \dag\:\:\bigg\lgroup \sf{ Interest \:: Principal + Amount }\bigg\rgroup \\\\

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Here Amount is Rs.700 , Interest is Rs.500 & Principal is P .

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀\underline {\boldsymbol{\star\:Now \: By \: Substituting \: the \: known \: Values \::}}\\

\qquad \longmapsto \sf 700 = P + 500 \\\\

\qquad \longmapsto \sf 700 - 500 = P  \\\\

\qquad \longmapsto \frak{\underline{\purple{\:P = Rs.200 }} }\bigstar \\

Therefore,

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀\therefore {\underline{ \mathrm {\:Principal \:is\:\bf{Rs.200\:}}}}\\
