55 kg = 55 × 1000 grams = 55,000 grams

now 55,000 and 99,000

= 5 : 9

b) 750 litres, 1/2 litre

750 litre = 750 × 1000 ml = 750,000 ml

now 750,000 and 500 ml ( 1/2 litre)

= 1,500 : 1
