Given :-
- Side of a cube is 5 cm
To Find :-
- Total Surface area and Lateral surface area
Solution :-
~Here, we're given the side of a cube and we need to find the total and lateral surface area of that cube. We can easily find the both by putting the values in the formula.
_____________
As we know that ,
★ Total Surface area of cube ( TSA ) = 6 × ( Side )²
★ Lateral Surface area of cube ( LSA ) = 4 × ( Side )²
Finding the TSA :-
⟶ 6 × ( Side )² = TSA
⟶ 6 × ( 5 )²
⟶ 6 × 25
⟶ TSA = 150 cm²
Finding the LSA :-
⟶ 4 × ( Side )² = LSA
⟶ 4 × ( 5 )²
⟶ 4 × 25
⟶ LSA = 100 cm²
_____________
Hence,
- Total surface area of the cube is 150 cm²
- Lateral surface area of the cube is 100 cm²
