Given:-

  • Slant height of the cone = 24cm.
  • Diameter of the base = 21cm

To find:-

  • Find the TSA of the cone ..?

Solutions:-

  • Let the slant Height of the cone 24cm and diameter of the base = 21cm.

We have

Radius = diameter/2

=> 21/2

=> 10.5cm

Now,

Total surface area of cone = πr(l + r)

=> 22/7 × 10.5(21 + 12)

=> 22/7 × 10.5(33)

=> 22/7 × 10.5 × 33

=> 7623/7

=> 1089cm²

Hence, the TSA of the cone is 1089cm².

Some Important:-

  • Right circular cone:-
  • h = height of cone
  • r = Radius of cone
  • s = slant height

  • Volume = 1/3πr²h
  • Lateral surface area = πr √r²+h²
  • Total surface area = πr² + πr √r²+h²
