Hi,
*****************************************************
f : A -> B is a function from A to B then
A is called domain (set of first coordinates of
each ordered pair )
B is called range (set of second coordinates of
each ordered pair )
***************************************************
According to the problem given ,
f = { ( 1, 3 ) , ( 2 , 5 ) , ( 4 , 7 ) , ( 5 , 9 ), ( 3 , 1 )}
domain of f = set of first coordinates }
= { 1 , 2 ,3 , 4 , 5 }
Range = set of second coordinates of each
ordered pair
= { 1 , 3 , 5 , 7 , 9 }
I hope this helps you.
