2. For what value of k will the following equations have infinitely many solutions? 2x-3y=7,

(k+1) x+ (1-2k) y=5k-4

2/k+1 = - 3/1-2k = 7/5k-4........ (1)
2/k+1 = 7/5k-4, -3/1-2k = 7/5k-4
10k - 8= 7k +7, - 15k+12=7-14k
3k-8=7, - k+12=7
3k =15, -k =-5
Therefore, k=5
