605 + 74.88

To Find :  Summation

Solution:

Four and three quarter rupees' and 'seven and a quarter rupees

4 + 3/4  + 7 + 1/4

= 4 + 7  + 3/4  + 1/4

= 11  + (3 + 1)/4

= 11 + 4/4

= 11 + 1

= 12

'Six and a half metres' and 'three and three quarter metres'.

6 + 1/2   + 3 + 3/4

= 9 + 1/2 + 1/2 + 1/4

= 10 + 1/4

Ten and a   quarter metres

605 + 74.88

= 679.88
