i) given,

time (t) = 4 s

from the graph, displacement  in first 4 s = 10 m

We know,

Average velocity = distance / time

                           = 10 / 4

Average velocity = 2.5 m/s

ii) From the graph,

Initial position(Pi) = 0

Final position(Pf) = - 10 m

We know,

Displacement = Pf - Pi

                       = -10 m - 0

Displacement = - 10 m

iii) From the graph, it can be directly said that he reaches the starting point at 7 s and 13 s.

Hope It Helps You!

Answer:

i) 2.5 m/s

ii) -10 m

iii) 7 seconds and 13 seconds

Explanation:

i) Time ( t ) = 4 seconds

Velocity = Distance travelled / Time taken

 v = 10 / 4

 v = 2.5 m/s

ii) Displacement = Shortest distance between initial position and final          position.

    Displacement = -10 m

iii) He meets the starting point (0) at 7 sec and 13 sec

Hope this helped you :)
