The first example of an archeological source is Inscriptions.  

  • Inscription is writing carved on a metal or stone,
  • It helps us to find out the time period of that inscription.
  • In the inscription, the history of that particular time period will be revealed.
  • It helps us to get ideas about previous rulers and their lifestyles.
  • It gives information about the major events that took place during that period.

The second example of an archeological source is Monuments

  • Monuments give us information about the architectural styles during the period when the monument was built.
  • It shows the various skills of the people during that period.
  • Majority of the monuments depict the culture of that period.

The third example of an archeological source is Coins

  • The coins are another vital resource to find out the reign of kings during that time period.
