Answer:

Difference between the following :

Explanation:

a) In conduction, heat transfer takes place between objects by direct contact. In convection, the heat transfer takes within the fluid. Conduction The heat transfer in conduction is slow . Convection the heat transfer in convection is faster.

b) A conductor allows current to flow easily through it. An Insulator doesn't allow current to flow through it. Electric charge exists on the surface of conductors. Electric charges are absent in insulators.

c) Clinical Thermometer

Used to measure human body temperature. It has kink, which prevents immediate backflow of mercury.

Laboratory thermometer

Used to measure temperature in the laboratory. It does not have a kink.
