PQ =~ RS

Step-by-step explanation:

PR =~ PQ + QR

QS =~ QR + RS

You will notice the boththe equations have QR common.

We also know that PR =~ QS.

Thus, equating the first two equations,

PQ + QR =~ QR + RS

cancelling QR on both sides

PQ =~ RS
