Answer:

2H2+O2-->2H2O

now we have to find out the mass of water so we will find limiting reagent firstly .

bcz the formed product is depend on the limiting reagent.

Limiting reagent = moles/stociometric coefficient

for H2, moles = 2/2 = 1

for O2, moles = 1/32

now, to find L.R.we have to find this ratio . Whose ratio is less then it is L.R.

moles/stociometric coff.

For H2 = 1/1=1

for O2 = 1/32 (less ratio )

this O2 is L.R. here and product will depend on it.

so.,

32g = M.Wt. of O2

18g = M.Wt. of H2O

32gO2 Gives--> 2x18g of H2O

1g O2 Gives--> 36/32g of H2O

= 1.5g of water
