Given: From the graph, consider Δ ABC.
The coordinates of Δ ABC are A(2,7), B(4, - 3) and C( -5, -2).
Now, we transfer Δ ABC → Δ A'B'C' by using the given rule (x,y) → (x, -y).
Here, we will keep x-coordinates as same while y-coordinates will be interchanged with the negative sign.
Obtained coordinates of triangle Δ A'B'C' will
A'(2 , - 7), B'(4 , 3) and C'( -5, 2)
The transformed triangle Δ A'B'C' is shown in the attached diagram.
