3.We, in the northern hemisphere, just focus on the red, north seeking end being closer to that pole. The other, non-red end points south. Also the thing at the Earth's North geographic pole is a magnetic South pole and would correctly be marked with an “S”. therefore: “the South Pole is at the North Pole”.
