Both of these forces enable us to walk on earth. due to gravitational force we stay on the ground. due to frictional force we do not slip as the irregularities in our sole interlock with the bumps and holes in the surface. THE ANSWER IS GRAVITATIONAL Let's focus on the foot.

Answer:

Friction constant × Normal reaction. Thus when we try to walk on the surface of the earth we actually exert a force opposite to the direction in which we want to move. Friction acts on our feet which is due to the roughness of the surface on the earth (which can change with change on the surface we are standing on).

i hope it will help you
