I think that it does not gives immunity.

vaccination actually is a group of dead cells of any virus.

When it enters our body our body cells try to kill it and as they are dead our cells kill it.

Through this our body get an idea about the virus and when it enters again our body our body recognize it easily and know the method to kill it.

I may be wrong because i am only in 5th standard so if i am wrong then please forgive me.
