How is a lake different from an ocean?
3 A saltwater source is different from a freshwater source as its water is salty. How else are the two sources different from each other?

Oceans are large bodies of saltwater surrounding a continent. A river is a large flowing water body that empties itself into the sea. Lakes are large water bodies that are surrounded by land on all sides. 3) the two sources are different from eachother as salt water is obtained form ocean/sea whereas fresh water is obtained form rivers,lakes,wells,etc. Also saltwater contains sodium chloride.
