(2) How many boxes of length 150 cm, breadth 50 cm and height 75 cm can be accommodated in the godown of
length 100 m, breadth 90 m and height 5 m?​

Answer:

Length=100m

Breadth=90m

Height=5m

Volume of Godown=l×b×h

=100×90×5m

=45000m³

Length of 1 box=150cm

Breadth of 1 box=50cm

Height of 1 box=75cn

Volume of 1 box=l×b×h

=150×50×75cm

=562500cm³ =>m³

=0.5625m³

Maximum number of box be stored in Godown = Volume of Godown

n×0.5625 = 45000m³

n= 45000 × 10000

0.5625 10000

= 450000000/5625

= 80000 boxes .

Hence, 80,000 boxes can be accommodated in Godown.
