For example if you have a 12volts battery of 15 ampere hours, and if you connect 4 numbers of similar batteries in series you will get a voltage of 12 ×4 =48 volts, at 15 ampere hours, and if you connect them in parallel you will get a voltage of 12volts and 60 ampere hours power. To make series connection of the batteries you have to connect or join a wire negative of the 1st battery to the positive of the 2nd battery and so on. To make a parallel connection connect all positive terminals together, and all negative terminals together.
