Answer:

If  A={1,2,3,4,5}  and B={3,4,5,7}  then

A∪B={1,2,3,4,5,7}  and  A∩B={3,4,5}

Step-by-step explanation:

If two sets A and B are given, we know that

A∪B={x: x ∈ either A or B}  and

A∩B={x: x∈ A and x∈ B}

That is, A∪B contains each and every elements in A and B, whereas

A∩B contains only such elements which are contained in A as well as in B.

therefore A∪B={1,2,3,4,5,7}

and          A∩B={3,4,5}

thank you
