a - 3d, a - d, a+d ,a+3d are in A. P

common difference = a2 - a1

= a - d - (a - 3d)

= a - d - a + 3d

= a - a - d + 3d

= 2d

common difference = a3 - a2

= a + d - (a - d)

= a + d - a + d

= a - a + d + d

= 2d

So, the common difference is 2d
