2. If A:B = 4:9 and A: C = 2: 3, find B: C and A:B:C.​

Here is the solution :-

a : b \:  =  \frac{a}{b}  =  \frac{4}{9}  \\  \\ a : c \:  =  \frac{a}{c}  =  \frac{2}{3}  \\  \\ now \:  \frac{a}{c}   \times   \frac{2}{2} =  \frac{2}{3}  \times  \frac{2}{2}  =  \frac{4}{6}  \\  \\ here \: we \: get \:  \frac{a}{c}  =  \frac{4}{6}  \\  \\ a = 4 \:  \:  \:  \: b = 9 \:  \:  \:  \: c = 6 \\  \\

So, B : C = 9 : 6 and A : B : C = 4 : 9 : 6
