Side of square plot = 64 m

Perimeter of the square plot = 4×64

Or, Perimeter of the square plot = 256

Let breadth of the rectangular plot = b m

Length of the rectangular plot = 70 m

Perimeter of the rectangular plot = 2(l+b) = 256

Because perimeter of square and rectangular plot is same.

Or, 70+b = 256/2

Or, b = 128 - 70

Or, b = 58 m

Area of the square plot = (side)²

Or, Area of the square plot = (64)²

Or, Area of the square plot = 4096 m²

Area of the rectangular plot = l × b

Or, Area of the rectangular plot = 70 × 58

Or, Area of the rectangular plot = 4060 m²

The square plot has a greater area than rectangular plot.

Greater Area = Area of the square plot - Area of the rectangular plot

Or, Greater Area = 4096 - 4060

Or, Greater Area = 36 m²

Therefore, square plot has 36 m² greater area than rectangular plot.
