Step-by-step explanation:

=x+y=3 .........(i)

=x-y=5

=x=5+y .........(ii)

=x2-y2 ..........(iii)

Substituting (ii) in (i),

x+y=3

(5+y)+y=3

2y=-2

y=-1

Substituting the value of y in (ii),

x=5+y

=5+(-1)

=4

I am not understanding whether the third equation is 2x-2y or x^2-y^2 so, solving both

Substituting the value of x and y in (iii),

=2(4)-2(-1) =(4)^2-(-1)^2

=8+2 =16-1

=10 =15

Hope it helps
