Let x be the amount of people in the class, then;

x/3 want to play chess.

2x/5 want to play cricket.

5 want to play football.

So,

(x/3)+(2x/5)+5=x

5x/15 + 6x/15 + 5 = x

5 = 4x/15

75 = 4x

x = 75/4 = 18.75

So technically the class has 18.75 people in it but obviously we can't have 3/4 of a person so no, we can't find the number of people in the class.
