2. In a parallelogram ABCD, if angle A = (2x + 35) and angle C = (3x – 5)'.
Find : (i) the value of x (ii) measure of each angle of ABCD.

Since opposite sides are equal in parallelogram so,

A=C

2x + 35 = 3x - 5

2x - 3x = -5 -35

x = -40
