2 In a parallelogram ABCD, if ZA = (2x + 35) and ZC = (3x - 5)".
Find :) the value of x (ii) measure of each angle of ABCD.
[Hint: A = 2C, B = D and ZA + B + C + D = 360°)

Answer:

opposite angles of parallogram are equal.....1

1). angle A = angle C. (statement 1)

2x+35=3x-5

35+5=3x-2x

40°=x

2.). angle A = 2x+35

2(40)+35=80+35

115°

angle A= angle. C

angle C=115°=angle A

angle A+angleB=180°. (Co-interior angles)

115°+ angle B=180°

angleB= 180°-115°

angle B=65°

angle B= angle D. ( statement 1...)

angle D =65°

angle A =angleC= 115°

angle B= angle= D=65°
