Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

cost of 2 books =   Rs.104

cost of 1 book= 104/2= Rs. 52

Javed purchased 5 books  hen cost of 5 books = 52 x 5 = Rs.260

discount on 1 book=10% ,discount on 2 book=20% ,discount on 3 book=30%

discount on 4 book=40% , discount on 5 book=40% [ given 4or more than 4 books is  40%

So discount on 5 books with cost 260 @ 40 % = 260 x40/100 = 104

Ans.   Rs.104
