Answer:

we know that measure of triangle is 180 degree

so,

x+x+20+2x = 180

4x= 180 - 20

4x= 160

x= 160/4

x= 40

Given :-

Measure of the first angle = x

Measure of the second angle = x + 20

Measure of the third angle = 2x

To Find :-

The value of x.

Analysis :-

Make an equation according to the question.

Add all the x and write the rest of the equation.

Then transpose the given number.

Divide it and get the value of x.

Solution :-

We know that,

Total degree of a triangle = 180°

Making an equation,

\sf x+x+20+2x=180

\sf 4x+20=180

By transposing 20,

\sf 4x=180-20

\sf 4x=160

Finding the value of x,

\sf x=\dfrac{160}{4}

\sf x=40^{o}

Therefore, the value of x is 40.
