2) In a well there is 800 litres of water. At the top there is a
pipe that deposits 25 litres per minute into the well, and at
the bottom there is another pipe which withdraws at the
rate of 30 litres per minute from the same well. How many
litres of water will there be in the well after 15 minutes of
the pipe functioning?

Answer:

725 Liters

Step-by-step explanation:

volume of well = 800 L

Filling rate = 25 L/min (+)

Releasing rate = 30 L/min (-)

if we add 25 + (-30) = -5 L/min

15 min= -75 L

so 800+ (-75) = 725 L
