Given:-

  • a = 5

  • d = 3

  • n = 5

To Find:-

  • 5th term (a_5) of an A.P.

Formula used:-

  • a_n= a+(n-1)d

Solution:-

⟹a_n= a+(n-1)d

⟹a_5= 5+(5-1)3

⟹a_5= 5+4×3

⟹a_5=5+12

{\boxed{⟹a_5=17}}

Hence, The 5th term of given A.P is 17.

Answer = 17

explanation : a = 5

d = 3

n = 5

nth term = a + (n-1)d

= 5 + (5-1)3

= 5 + (4×3)

= 17.

Therefore 5 th term of A. P = 17
