Answer:

a = 1

d = 5

A.P. = 1 , 6 , 11 , 16...

Step-by-step explanation:

5th term = a + 4d

7th term = a + 6d

Sum of 5th and 7th term = 52   (Given)

a + 4d + a + 6d = 52

2a + 10d = 52   ⇒   a + 5d = 26   ...(i)

10th term = 46   (Given)

a + 9d = 46 ...(ii)

Subtracting (i) from (ii)

4d = 20   ⇒   d = 5

a + 9d = 46

a + 9(5) = 46

a = 46 - 45

a = 1

Hope this answer helps you.

Answer:

a10=46

a5+a7=52

a+9d=46----->1

a+6d=26----->2

=> 3d=20

=>d=20/3

substitute d value in 2

we get

a=26-40=-14

therefore, the required AP is,

-14,-22/3,-1,17/3.......
