2. In the following figure, find the values
of x and y and then show that
PQ || XY.

110 = y = 110 (V.O.A)

70 = x = 70 (V.O.A)

Let the lone be POQ and XAY

And the straight line be M and N

OQ = 110 And OP = 180-110 = 70

So AOP = MOQ = 70

XA  = 70 And YA = 180 - 70 = 110

Since XA =  PO and YA = OQ

Therefore PQ is parallel to XY
