SOLUTION:

p(2) = (2)^2 - 6×2 + 8

= 2×2 - 12 + 8

= 4 - 4

= 0

Therefore 2 is the zero of the given equation.

Other zero of this equation is 4 .

p(4) = (4)^2 - 6 × 4 + 8

= 16 - 24 +8

=24 - 24

= 0

Answer:

g(x)=x=2

p(x)=x^2-6x+8

p(2)=2^2-6(2)+8

p(2)=4-12+8

p(2)= -8+8

= 0

hence 2 is the zero of the polynomial
