It was a normal sunny day, when evelyn was playing a game of hide and seek with her cousins. Lisa, her sister called out her name to be the seeker. However, she didnt really respond to her name. Lisa called her many times, yet she still didnt get a response. Now, Lisa was worried. She decided to check on evelyn, and when she did, she found that she was close enough to hear her call. She asked Evelyn about if she heard her name being called, however evelyn responded that she didn't.
Slowly but steadily, Evelyn could not hear someone sitting close next to her. She was very worried about herself. What will happen to me... Will I ever be able to hear again... I am really scared... She told this to her parents , who initially didnt make a big deal out of it, but when they called her she never responded. Soon, they got worried too and decided to take her to a doctor, who said that her hearing was slowly declining, and it could be permanent .
Lisa felt horrible. She felt that she didnt belong to this world, And felt left out and lonely. She didnt want to be the only one without any hearing.... She was devastated, but she hoped it would be cured soon....
