heat gained by cold body =heat lost by hot body

Q=Heat energy

m=mass of water

c=Specific heat capacity

Heat lost

for convenience convert temp in Kelvin to celcius by subtracting by 273

t=final temp

t2=initial temp

Q1=mc(t2-t1)

 =2 *4200*(79-t)

heat gained

t=final temp

t1= initial temp

Q2=mc(t-t1)

=2*4200(t-49)

Q1=Q2

2*4200(79-t)=2*4200(t-49)

79-t=t-49

2t=128

t=64
