Answer:

Evolution of hardware - It is proposed that automatically changes hardware description language specifications of digital circuits and adapts them to applied specific problems. Outputs from the system can be converted to real electronic circuits instead of the conceptual data structure in computer memory.

First generation - The period of first generation was from 1946-1959. The computers of first generation used vacuum tubes as the basic component for memory and circuitry for CPU(Central processing unit).

Second generation - The period of second generation was from 1956-1963. The computers managed to do away with vacuum tubes in lieu of transistors. This allows them to use less electricity and generate less heat.

Third generation - The computers of third generation used integrated circuits(ICs) in place of transistor. A single IC has many transistors, resistors and capacitors along with the associated circuitry.

Fourth generation - The period of 4th generation was from 1971-1980. Computer of 4th generation used very large scale integrated (VLSI) circuits.

Fifth generation - The computer made in the 5th generation used ULSI (Ultra large - scale integration) technology. Advancement in superconductors te and parallel processing.
