Nepal is in an urgent need of a new Constitution on the present day. This is because in the year 1990, the executive powers were entirely given to the king only.
Later an interim constitution was drafted in the year 2007 and then the council of ministers took overall responsibilities i.e. executive powers as per interim Constitution and it was headed by the prime minister.
So the country moved rapidly from monarchy to democracy and this needed a set of ideals to follow. hence Constitution should be framed.
