2. Make a grid on paper with square size of 1 cm by 1 cm. Very carefully trace the outline of your hand on it. Estimate the area covered by your hand by adding the whole covered squares with those that are covered more than half. Compare the outline of your hand with any one of your family member.

Solution:

Step 1 : Take  a  A 4 Paper Sheet

Step 2 : Draw a Square of 20 x 20

Step 3 : make a grid of 1 cm by 1 cm  

Step 4 :  Put your hand and trace outline

Step  5 : Count Complete Square and More than Half filled Squares

Count of full squares = 80

Count of More than Half filled Squares = 30

Area = 80 + 30 = 110  cm²

My younger sister was  95  cm²
