let that 1 woman finish the y work in 1day
2x + 7y= 1/4........... 1
4x + 4y = 1/3....... ....2
Multiply equation 1 by 2
4x + 14y= 1/2
4x +4y = 1/3
subtract
10y = 1/6
y = 1/60
put y =1/60 in equation.... 1
2x =1/4 - 7/60
2x = 8/60
x= 8/120 or 1/15
x + y =1/15 + 1/60
x+y = 5/60
x+y =1/12
total time to complete the job = 12days
