∴ money earned by one women per day: 3y = 192
3y = 192
y = 192/3
y = $64
∴ money earned by 5 men and 7 women = 5x ₊ 7y
= 5x ₊ 7y
= 5(96) ₊ 7(64)
= 928
Hence the total amount earned by 5 men and 7 women is $928.
