➜ In a democracy , the final decision making power must rest with those who are elected by the people because it is their own home people have entrusted the responsibilities of taking decisions for the welfare of the country and people.

➜ The election must offer a real choice between political alternative. In other word, people stood have a choice to elect BJP or Congress or some other party is candidate. People should have a choice to remove the existing rulers if they are not satisfied with their performance .Thus a democracy must be based on free and fair election at regular interval wherein the party currently in power should have fair chance of losing the election.
